DELIGHTS OF COACHING - Opening of the season, the famous coach, ""The Old Times," making its first run of the sea- son fruth London to Windsor, passing through beautiful scenery. This coach is the originat “Old Times" in which a record run from London to Brighton and back was made in 1888, with 13 teams of horses, in 7 hrs 50 mins. This is a truly picturesque scene, the cach passing through the outskirts of London at Sheen, Surrey (Sport, and General).

THE GENERAL ELECTION-CAMPAIGNING IN EARNEST.-Canvassing the woman voter, an important factor as events proved. Lady Stewart, the Liberal candidate for North Ken ington, working in her constituency. QUEEN MARY'S FIRST COURT-For the first time for 29 years, the Queen of England held a court, her Majesty being the central figure in a brilliant scene, unsurpassed for its magni- ficence. Huge crowds gathered along the Mall to watch the debutantes in their cars waiting their turn for presentation. The police had a difficult task in keeping the crowds back. Here. are two beautiful Parsee debutantes in their car, the Misses Khorshed and Nurgesh Kothawala (Sport and General).

MRS BALDWIN IN CAMPAIGN-At a women's meeting at Kentish Town, London. The wife of the former (Conservative) Prime Minister, with the aid of a loud speaker, is seen address- ing women voters at a street, meeting on behalf of Capt. Ian Fraser, the blind, M.P.. who is seen standing beside Mrs. Baldwin. The speech was given from Capi. Fraser's car which was specially equipped with a loud-speaker installation.-(Sport and General).

PRETTY MAY DAY CEREMONY.-Crowning the Walworth May Queen. At an early hour, 11-year-old Ivy Healey was crowned in the East End of London, with due pomp and cere- mony. Hundrels were present at the annual 100-year-old cere- mony, the little queen and her floral-adorned attendants making a pretty picture. The retiring Queen, Lily Winterburn, 'is shown crowning her successor, surrounded by attendants. (Sport and General).

NEVER SEEN IN HONG KONG!At the British open golf championship final, at Muirfield, near Edinburgh, which was won by Walter Hagen, U.S.A., for the fourth time. Above is an unusual picture on a golf course, showing the anxious crowd studying the score board anxiously. (Sport and General).

PRIME MINISTER AGAIN.-Latest photo of Mr. J. Ramsay MacDonald, the Labour leader, who is to be Premier of Britain for the second time. He had just been to the private view at the Royal Academy, Burlington-house, London the official opening of the London social season. Many notabilities attended. BEATING THE PARISH BOUNDS.-At St. Clement Dane's Church in the Strand, London. One of the peculiar customs in connection with the ceremony. Up-ending a choir boy at the boundary mark in the Temple. Note the wands used by the choir boys for "beating the hounds."-(Sport and General).

The new art of fashioning not only flowers, but plants and small trees, from white shells, or glass, or china, and then hand colour- ing them, is finding great favour with home workers. KANGAROO BOXER IN ENGLAND.—“Aussie,” a 4-year-old kangaroo, before starting a tour of the British Isles, gave a demonstration with Mr. Lindsay Fabre, (ex-amateur lightweight champion of Australia) at the Ring, Blackfriars. One advan- tage which the animal has over the man is its ability to use its hind legs at the same time as its fore legs in cases of emergency,
