WORSHIPPERS ANNUAL
MEETING
The annual general meeting of worshippers at the Feak Church was held in the Cathedral Hall on Wednesday. Mr. P. Jacks, one of the Trustees, was in the chair.
The Hon. Secretary's and Hon. Treasurer's reports were adopted as printed.
The Bishop of Victoria proposed and Mr. W. L. Pattenden seconded a resolution that Rule 4 of 1893 which provided for the election of five Com- mittee members in addition to the Trustees should for this year be al tared to read "six members." This was carried.
The Very Bav. A. Swann and Mr, D. G. McAvoy were re-elected on. Secretary and Hon. Treasurer, res- pectively.
The following were re-elected mem. bers of the Committee The Right Rev. the Bishop of Victoria, the Rev. FC Young, Sir Heary Pollock, Lady Pollock, The Dean (Hon. Secre tary), and Mr. D. G. McAvoy (Hon. Treasurer).
A resolution as follows was pro- posed by the Bishop of Victoria, seconded by the Rev. F. C. Young, and carried.
"That Mr. P. Jacks and the Hon Secretary be a Sub-Committee. for the purpose of considering whether a revision of the rules of the Peak Church is necessary, and if so in. what respects, and of reporting to the Committee, with a view to their recommendations being brought before the next annual meeting."

Jacks roposed and Mr. Presolution that Pattenden seconded a an estimate be obtained for repair ing the steps leading from the Peak- road to the Church and for fixing a hand rail. This was adopted.
The matter of the allocation of funds in hand was discussed, The
Rev. F. C. Young proposed and Mr. Jacks seconded a motion that such allocation be left over for another rear and that $1,000 he now placed on fred deposit for twelve monthe."

By the Bishop's permission, with the consent of the parents of parties concerned, the revised form of each service has been used, since the necessary printed service forma were presented to the Church. The buildings both of the Church itself and of the coolie's quarters are now in good repair, the roof of the Church having been thoroughly tax- red, and the roof of the vestry freed The. from white ants and repaired. Secretary is at present engaged in to the Peak motor road which are is the alterations enquiries concerning progress with a view to safeguarding the property.
It will be noticed from the state- ment of accounts that the Collections on three Sundays were given to ob jects other than expensen of the Peak Church. I should like to see this practice extended whenever possible. Until this is done we are merely providing
