The Civil Service C.C., who, a week ago, convincingly accounted for the Craigengower C.C., suffer- ed a record defeat in the history of local lawn bowls, when they went under to the Kowloon Dock 4-6 R.C. by 52 shots on Saturday, in the First Division of the League, on the latter's ground. A margin of 49 shots-the win of Club de Recreio's "A" team over the Tai- | koo R.C. in Division II on August 10, 1928--was the previous "record."
