Nanking, Yesterday. The Foreign Minister's identical Notes to Britain, United States, France, Netherlands, Norway, and Brazil on the question of the Pro- visional Court at Shanghai, read as follows:

"With reference to the former Mix- ed Court established in the Inter- national Settlement at Shanghai, the former Ministry of Foreign Affairs had repeatedly protested to the Minis- ters of the interested Powers and de- manded its rendition. Je 1926 dele- gates were appointed by both sides to discuss the question but failed to arrive

at any proper satisfactory agreement.

"Although since, a change has been made in the judicial machinery of the said Settlement. it is impossible to gainsay the fact that the position of the new Court is still anomalous and its system remains confusing, being different from that in the whole coun try.
