Mr. WEN LIN TSCHEN, the famous Chinese Aviator who is a graduate of the Amoy Flying School under the command of Admiral Lim, is the first Chinese Airman to fly from England to China. The route taken was through Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Jugo- Slavia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Palestine, Mesopotamia, Persia, India, Burmah, Indo-China, Canton, Amoy. This is a wonderful achievement and was accomplished on an Avro-Avian Light Aeroplane fitted with a Cirrus Mark 3 Engine using SHELL AVIATION SPIRIT and GOLDEN SHELL LUBRICATING OIL.

Mr. Hsu Moh, the newly appoint- ed Commissioner of Foreign Affairs in Shanghai, whose official title will be Special Commissioner of Foreign Affairs for Kiangsu Pro vince, is not expected to come to Shanghai to assume his new duties until next month. Mr. Hou, who is a native of Soochow, will succeed Mr. Wunsz King, who has been promoted to the post of Minister to The Netherlands.
