THEIR MOST FAMOUS INDUSTRY--Decorations in the New Turci» sories were mal on such an elaborate calt as on the Island when H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester motored out to Fanling last week but the simple country folk wished to draw the distinguished visitor's attention to their most famous Industry. The car seen above was at the junction of Taipo main road and the road to the station, The Red Ensign is on the left and, on the right, is the international 3-letter signal meaning "welcome." ONE OF N.Y.K. "BIG THREE."-The Nippon Yusen Kaisha's "Tatsuta Maru," one of the "big three" for trans-Pacific service, being launched at Mitsubishi Dockyard, Nagasaki, Japan, to be placed in service next May, The other two are the "Asama Maru" and the "Chichibo Maru," and they constitute the three biggest motor ships ever built for the Japanese Mer- cantile Marine. With up-to-date and luxurious passenger accommodation, the N.Y.K. "big three" ought to prove very popular between the Far East and California.

FAREWELL TO THEIR CAPTAIN. The Concert Party of H.M.S. "Stormcloud," of the 8th Destroyer Flotilla, who gave a farewell entertainment or shipboard to the Commanding Officer prior to his departure for Home on H.M.S. "Dartmouth."
