MANY SHIPS AGROUND NEAR

The water at Wschow is said to be eight inches below "zero"--a level which has not been recorded for a long time. Unless the water rises, vessels will-in future stop at Dosing on their way to Wuchow, so as to avoid unnecessary risks of going aground.
