The fourteenth annual sports day of the Queen's College held

on

Saturday at the college's ground at Causeway Bay under ideal weather conditions.

All the events were keenly con- tested, and it was indeed a pleas- ing sight to see midgets contend- ing for honour against strapping youths in the one mile and half mile races.

In asking Mr. Li to give away the prizes, Mr. A. II. Crook, head master. said that it was indeed a pleasure and an honour to the College to be able to induce Mr. Li to come and give away the prizes. Mr. Li, he said, was a very busy man, having many public duties to perform.

A person might be in any walk of life, the speaker added, but he could never ignore sports. Mr. Li might be a star tennis or football player to-day, if he had taken to sports in his younger days.
