Patna,-Yesterday.

As the result of an agrarian- riot in the State of Dumraonraj, two state officials were shot dead and six injured.

It is reported that 500 armed men attacked a body-of-officials under Captain Duff, who was in- specting land, which was to be auc- Įtioned.

The district magistrate with a body of police, hastened to the scene and quelled the disturbance. Capt. Duff is missing and it is thought that he has been beater to death with a club-Reuter.
