Played on the Navy ground at Happy Valley: The game was epoli- ad by an unnecessary amount of rough play, neither elde being blameless in this respect, and the Referee was coliged to warn several of the offenders.

Simmonds headed the opening goal for the Navy after a hot at tack. Both teams were combining well and showing plenty of promise, but the finishing efforts of the for- wards were not, of a high standard.

The Athletic replied as the result of a free kick, Lo Wal-mao sending in a dropping shot which deceived Turner. The Airmen had a comfortable win at King's Park in a game which was keenly contested throughout. At Sookumpoo the Small Units
