An interesting boxing tourng- ment between men of the King's, Own Scottish Borderers and H.M.S. "Hermes" was held at Murray Barracks last night. Competition was keen, but all the bouts were cleanly fought and in The League Tables to date area wholesome sporting spirit.

One of the finest games played in this season's tennis tourna ment' was witnessed last night, when S. E. Green got the better of J. G. Lawrie in three sets of 34 games. It was one of the few games we have seen this year which we wished to be longer. As is usual In Green's matches it was a base line duel, though it was anything but monotonous to the large crowd of spectators who gave the players a great ovation.
