With sincere regret the "China Mail' records the passing of Hong Kong's most popular bachelor tai- pan, Mr. Henry Percy White, senior principal of Messrs. Douglas, Lap- raik & Ca., general managers of the Douglas S.S. Co., Ltd., who died ut 2.30 this morning after heart attack at his residence in the bop floor of Frince's-building.

H. White, who is also a principal in Messrs: Douglas, Lapraik & Co. and who Hives also at Prince's-building. Dr. Aubrey and Dr. Bunje were called in immediately but Mr. H. P.. White died, painlessly, three-quarters of an hour later.
His death will be regretted by aj very wide circle of friends in Hong Kong, South China, Formosa and at Home.
