THE CHINA MAIL,

It appears that the Cross-Chan- nel steamer, "Ville de Liore," which went ashore yesterday near Dover landing stage, has not actually sunk, She is fast on the rocks, but only a small part of her hull kcan be seen.

This morning some of her mails were taken off at low tide.

An attempt was to be made later. to get her off-British Wireless Service.
