The Rev. Fr. Byrne, S. J., dis- tributed the prizes at the French Convent School (St. Paul's In stitution), Causeway Bay, yester day afternoon, in the presence of His Lordship the Rt. Rev. Blahop H. Valtorta, D.D., and a large gathering of parents of the stud-

The work in the different classes and the usual activities of the school have continued steadily during the past year, and the re- sults on the whole have been quite satisfactory.

The highest number on the roll was 260 which is an increase on that for the preceding year. The annual inspection took place on October 25 there being 247 pupils present, and the Inspector's Re- port was not only gratifying, but very encouraging both to pupils and teachers.
