BISHOPS CONFIRM ELECTION OF ARCHBISHOP OF YORK IN LONDON CHURCH WHERE HE WAS RECTOR FOR FOUR YEARS.—The election of Dr. William Temple, Bishop of Manchester, as the new Archbishop of York, was confirm- ed by a Royal Commission of Bishops at St. James' Church, Piccadilly, London. Dr. Temple was Rector of this church for four years during the war, 1914-1918. Photo shows the procession on the way for the ceremony.-Dr. Temple is second from the right.-(Sport and General).
