Aristophanes showed the way for time and then Loch Rannoch took up the running. Shortly afterwards Siang River was leader. At the last jump but oné, Aristophanes, My Lady and Siang River were over to- gether, Sleng River being in the middle and he had the misfortune to tumble when so well placed.
Although My Lady only won by half a length, Mr. Charles always had the measure of the others. Less than ovens were paid.
