The second half started briskly. but it was acon apparent that wind and sun were important fac-} tors, and although China came close early Army took up the runping, and Reeves, lying well up, smashed a low shot through a crowd. of defenders and Army were one up.

Army followed up their success and the halves playing well. The forwards were given many chances and Leach threading his way through finished with a crashing, shot which had Pau well beaten.
