"HONG KONG'S MEI LAN-FANG."--Mr. Chan Fei-nung,

the leading female impersonator on the Hong Kong Chinese stage. He is depicted in a part made famous by Mei Lan

fang of Peking, in which the heroine flees to the moon for

sanctuary to evade the wrath of her Emperor spouse.

TREVESSA CUP TROPHY.-The winning crew of the Douglas S.S. Company's s.s. "Hajching," with Mr. H. C. Dalziel. This boat won the Trophy by over 15 minutes from craft entered by "Ewo.”—(K. Fujiyama).

H.M.S. “HERMES" RUGBY TEAM.-Through another ship not turning out a team, the "Hermes" fifteen played the H.K.F.C. (rugby section) at very short notice last week and lost by 48 points to hil. Above is the aircraft carrier's players. The match was watched by Sir Robert. Ho Tung and many Chinese-(K. Fujiyama).
