Orders for the week, in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, is Bued to-day by Lt. Col. L. G. Bird, D.S.O., Commandant, road as fol- low:-

Annual Athletic Meeting Annual Athletic Sports will be held on the Kowloon Cricket Club Ground on Saturday, October 13, 1928, at 2.30 p.m., when Mrs. Southorn has kindly consented to give away the prizes. A notice giving details of the Events, etc., has been issued to every member of the Corps.

Musketry

The Portuguese Company will fire Part II. Table "T" at Stonecut- ters Range on Sunday, October 7, 1028.

Range Officer: Lieut. S. Jarvis, M.C.

Launch will leave Queen's Pier et 9 a.m. and call at Kowloon Pier at 9.10 a.m.

Motor Cyale Section.-Tuesday, October 9. All ranks are request- ed to attend at Corps Headquarters at 6.10 p.m. for photograph. Dress: -Review Order.

Friday, October 12. Parada at Corps Headquarters at 6.30 p.m.
