Belfast-Meeurs. Harland and Wolff have received from the White| Star Company, an order for a ves- sul which will be the largest [n] the world. They have commenced to lay the keel.

The dimensions of the vessel are: not yet available for publication. The record for size, is held by the White Star liner "Majestic," which is, 915. ft. long and has a tonnage of 56,650 gross.

The constraction of the now vas. sel will occupy between three and four years and the cost is expect ed to amount to nearly £7,000,000. Its gross tonnage is expected to ba about 60,000.
