SAME PRECÍSION.

Chrysler's famous manufactur- jing policy of Standardised Quality is emphatically expressed in its 52 'model, the lowest-priced car in the Chrysler line. This model receives the same quality of precision manufacture, the same thorough inspection, and the same engineering as does each of the three higher priced six cylin- der cars in the Chrysler line.

"S a specific illustration of how the Standardised Quality | plan works to the advantage of the '52′ buyer," says J. W, Frazer, Chrysler sales manager, "the pis- ton pins for this model are made of seamless alloy steel, After careful grinding, they are lapped to size and held within limits of two-tenths of A thousandth (0002) of an inch as to size and taper, and finished with a mirror- like polish that gives a very fine bearing surface. The point is that these minute limits of toler- ance in size and taper, and the finish, are precisely the same as for the piston pins used in the Chrysler Imperial '80, Attingly

Chrysler's striking. 70 per cent. sales growth in the export field| during 1927 was assisted, accord- |ing to E. C.. Morse, export mana- ger, by the long series of notable victories won by its cars in over-1 seas speed and durability con- tests,

Practically every distance and reliability record in many import ant overseas countries is now held by Chrysler cara.

One of the greatest 1927 ac- complishments made anywhere by Chrysler was when a stock "70" covered 1,607.87 miles in 24 hours over the dry bed of Lake Perkolli, in West Australia, maintaining an average speed of 68.106 miles an hour, and setting up new Australian records for every distance above 100 miles. In the вате series ofi contests another "70" won the 20-mile championship, establishing another Australian record of 15 minutes 71⁄2 seconds for the distance-an average of 79.8 miles an hour. Later the same day the same car won the open handicap of six miles at 76 miles an hour.

"The '52' is built in the same plants and by the same organise- tion as every other Chrysler. It shares equally with them the benefits of Chrysler engineering petrol economy trials, and the re- and manufacturing skill, labora-markable accomplishment tory and road testing, scientific research, experience and equip ment. Because of all these ad- vantages, we believe it embodies more advanced mechanical fea- tures, a higher degree of riding ease and performance ability, and a larger number of luxury ap- pointments than can be found in any car in the low priced field which must, of necessity, be pro- duced without the advantages the '62' enjoys."

From South Africa came re- ports of many additional feats. First, a """70" climbed Gray's} Pass in Namaqualand in scaled high gear.
