CRAIGENGOWER AND
TAIKOO.
CLARK OUT.
{By "Hias."]
I expected to have something to. say about the Championship of the Colony where a number of matches were due to be played during the week; but the weather has caused most of the greens to be closer. One match took place on Wednes day on the Civil Service'ground be- tween Inspector J. Clark of the Police Club and Archibald of Civil Service. It was a very close game and one shot por head was the dominant score. The match was won by the last shot in the last head and a potential champion was beaten in the preliminary round, If Archibald keeps up that form he will go far.
Cralgengower,

In the First Division all eyes are on Craigengower at Taikoo. Their tails are up and they ought to win. Basa is a very experienced player and last Saturday'a score is index of the form of his rink. The Volunteers' new march past has inspired the Valley Club to have an anthem of their own, but "Brad- bury will carry us through" will not win the league....
Kowloon Cricket Club play the Police at home and I doubt if they ean win. The Police are stronger than their position in the league shows and their first Saturday's mistake has made them keener than ever.
Kowloon Dock entertain Civil Service and that is anybody's game with the odds on the home side,
The Seconds.”
.
In the Second Division Club de Recreio "A" are, at home to Taikoo and ought to
take another step forward towards the fng. I ex- pect to see them in the first divi- sion next year. Their "B" team are at the valley playing Civil Ser- vice and will probably be well
beaten.
