Caso occurred on the Yauminti ferry launch on Friday afternoon. The launch was on its way across the harbour when, opposite the Kowloon) Godown No. 1 wharf, a woman was seen to jump overboard,
The launch turned back and, the womani
was rescued by the coxswain who immediately dived to her assistance. A police launch came on the scene and re- moved the woman to the Kwong Wah Hospital. She is known to bo a. widow named Lai Shun. rosiding at 134 Wanchai-road.
