THIS MORNING'S RETURN.

With the arrival of 16 vesselk recorded at the Harbour Office this morning, in the time, under review ending 9 a.m. this morning, the lat registera the nationalities that figure prominently, that of the Japanese with 7, the British and Chinose with 4 each.

The cargo Imported to the Colony by the above 16 vessels, totals 8,933 tons, to which amount the All British contribute 1.564 tons.

Cargo being shipped through Hong Kong for ports beyond amounts to a total of 16,034 tons, 3,214 tons are being transported by the British vessels,

With regard to the above figures, the best return shown for cargo being imported to the Colony by one-vessel, was registered by the 3.3. "Tawa Maru" from Dairen and Keelung-Messrs. M.B.K. - 2,851 tons coal.

The highest figures recorded for good shipped through for ports be- yond, was contributed by the 8.8. "Akitaku Maru" from Yokohama, and Mojl-Messrs. N.Y.K. — 3,436 tons general.

. The smallest amount of cargo Imported by one vessel to Hong Kong, was shipped by the 8.9. "Mantun" — Messrs. Mackinnon | Mackenzie-4 tons general cargo.

Passengers arrived in the Colony by the above vessels in the time under review totals 694 persons, which includes 361 Asiatic deck, 67 Asiatic cabin; 276 European cabin.

Owing to the strike conditions prevailing in the port of Amoy, 240 tons general cargo has been over carried and brought back yester- day to Hong Kong by the s.s. "Yingchow" (Messrs. B. & S.)
