First Prize Of $7,140 Won By Mr. Wong Tak.

the first and second prizes in the Jockey Club's Derby sweep, drawn on the course, were sold during yesterday morning lo Chinese.

Mr. Wong Tak bought ticket No. 1023 his only purchase which drew Stiting Bull and won $7,110. Another Chinese gentle. man, who had several tickets-- taken at random-held No. 1234 drew Young Pretender and won $2,040.

Hong Kong Shield Competition South China will play against R.A. on Thursday at Caroline Hill ground: kick off at 4.15 p.m. sharp. | Refereo: Mr. Willis; Linesmen, Messrs. F. Smith and W. E. Hollands.

On Saturday next there is the game between the K.0.3.B. and
