BOAT DAMAGED.'-

RUN INTO BY STEAM LAUNCH.

A collision occurred in the har- bour early this morning between a steam launch and a cargo boat, re- auiting in considerable damage to the latter.

According to a report made to the poifce by Chan Tal-lam, the master of cargo, boat No. 2230-V, whilst his junk was tied up to the seawall off the Kowloon-Canton Railway Station in Kowloon, she was run into by the steam launch "Otto" belonging to the Nether lands Harbour Works. Damage

was done to the stern of the' cargo boat to the extent of $1,000.
