The first Agricultural show to be held in the New Territories was opened by H.E, the Governor yesterday at Lady Ho Tung's Ex-beneficial for perimental Farm, Sheung Shui..

In spite of the inclement weather the exhibition attracted some 2,000 people and the quality of the produce exhibited was high, also the non-competitive exhibits such as agricultural machinery and other implements.

The show is open again to-day.

His Excellency the Governor, who was accompanied by Lady Clementi, arrived at Lady Ho Tung's farm shortly after 2.80, being met by members of the Show committee. The party then proceeded to the Show buildings where a raised dais had been erected for mony,
