ONE SUSPECT ARRESTED,

INCRIMINATING INGOT.

Two raids by pirates came to light yesterday. The first, as ex- clusively reported in all issues of yesterday's "China Mail," "con- cerned the 8.8. "Shing On," a Chinese-owned and captained vessel trading between here and Wuchow. The full story of the piracy is told below.

The second concerned a launch owned by the Wo Fat Hing Com- any, of Hong Kong, and was a very daring escapade. The hold-up took place in the harbour, and it appears that some of the crew might have been associated with the three men who boarded the vessel and got away with gold bars to the value of $80,000. One alleged pirate was captured last night with a gold inget in his pos- session: Latest details of this outrage also follow.
