PLANS FOR THE COMING

YESTERDAY'S MEETING.

Optimism for a successful sea. son was expressed at a meeting of the Fanling Hunt yesterday when plans for the coming season wore discussed.

Dr. F. Plorco-Grove presided. Outlining the financial position of the Club, Mr. J. K. Bousfield said that they were in debt at the moment to the extent of about $1,000, 290 being due for hounds 12 from Home and about $700 for the of hounds at Wolhalwel. Against this 7 they had a small credit balance.

Mr. Maas gave a report on the 75 "Hunter's Arms," stating that ad- vances from other accounts had to meet been necessary in order working expenditure, the debt with which they started the new seasoni being $464. If the Hunt was well supported and subscribers could be persuaded to do all their entertain- ing In the "Arms," rather in pri- vate houses it was hoped to make the "Arme" nearly pay for itself during the coming season.
