'An outbreak of skin disease in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, was traced to mice with which child- ren had been playing, says Lam- abeth's Medical Officer.
The whole strength of Belfast Fire Brigade was engaged for five hours with an outbreak in Smith- field Market, in the centre of the
city, The fire originated in dealer's stall full of gramophones and similar goods and spread with amazing rapidity. The damage is estimated at £90,000.
