LEAGUE TABLES.
The Filipinos opened their near- ing in the sixth inning when they collected five runs, through D. Leonard, T. Leonard, Bautista, Zafra and Cruz.
The score stood at 7-5 in favour of the "Dragons" when they went up for their sixth inning.
Lam. the first man up, hit a beauty between centre-field and left-field for a home run amidst great excitement. Two others also scored.
The Filipinos made a strenuous effort to pull the game round in the seventh and had hard luck in being two runs in arrears after scoring thres in the last inning.
In the bottom half Harrison meets F. Large. Harrison is the holder of the honour of being the singles champion and it looks as if he is going to repeat the per- formance again this year as he is playing up to his standard. If he wins the championship it will be his third year in succession. Large in also playing a great game and if he tackles Harrison! in the same way that he went after A. A. Malcolm and G. B. Stormes, Harrison will have to Fernandez work
more than hard to put Zafra Large out.
