At Talkoo, the home team drew with the Kowloon B.G.C. Scores: Craigengower C.C. secured a
T.R.C.
K.R.G.C. double victory, the first string J. McCubbin defeating the Civil Service G.G., C. Matthews whilst their Division II team sur-J. Laing prised East Point R.C. The East G. Morrison Pointers ruined any chance they might have had in the champion- ship race.
As some expected, the Kowloon Bowling Green Club met with de- feat at the hands of the Civil
Service C.C. in Division II, thanks to a handsome win of 19 shots by Alderman's rink over Dixon's.
The Bowling Green were pre- viously running neck-to-neck with the Kowloon C.C. and Taikoo C.C for pride of place in this Division.
On their own green, the Club de Recreio shared the points with the Taikoo R.C.quite a good
performance!

Androcles of ancient Rontan times, who won the lion's friend- ship. by removing the thorn from. hia pad, had nothing on the charac- ter of Dave Weston, played by Charles Farrel in the Warner Bros. production of "The Clash of the Wolves,"
In this latest Rin-Tin-Tin picture, in which June Marlowe and Pat Hartigan will aho appear. Weston transforms Lobe from the savage leader of a pack of cattle-killing wolves to a faithful friend through a simple get of kindness similar to that of Androcles. To young Wes- ton's friends Loba is the personifi- cation of affection and gentleness; to le enemies, a fiend of retribu- tion and revenge.
Although a reward of $2,000 hangs over the easily recognizable leader of the cattle Killers, when Dave, a young prospector, finds him dying of his wound, he befriends him and preservos his life in re- turn for this kindness Lobo severni times outwita nad outfights the Villainous assayed who attempts to jump Weston's valuable borax claim. He finally saves his new master's life, wrecks his vengeance upon his persecutor and lives to see Dave and May, a neighbouring rancher's daughter, happily en- joying the fruits of his valour:
