London, June 8. The Co-operative Congress at Cheltenham decided. by a card vote of 1,900 against 1,848 in favour of political alliance with the Labour Party. Only six hundred, out of 1,300 societies affiliated to the Co operative Union, were represented at the congress, and a proposal will be made to-morrow for a referen- dum of the societies.-Reuter.
