ANOTHER SHANGHAI INCIDENT.

BRITISH PLEASURE CRAFT ATTACKED.

NAVAL BOAT SILENCES FIRE.

LULL BEFORE FINAL PEKING DRIVE.

Shanghai has been the scene of another shooting incident, Chinese soldiers yesterday firing on British pleasure craft near Lung- hwa, the scene of last week's attack on the yachting fleet.

A motor boat from H.M.S. "Hawkins" which observed the shoot- ing, opened fire in the direction of the attack and silenced the firing from the shore.

There is a lull in the military situation prior to the final drive on Peking. Hints are being thrown out of a possible armistice between North and South.
