The Kowloon Fire Brigade received a call about four o'clock on Saturday to a taxi which was on fire outside the Pun Tol Hotel in Nathan Road. The outbreak was caused by a petrol leakage, and the spirit, escaping to the road, resulted in a brief but fierce blaze. The driver's seat of the taxi was badly burned but the remainder of the body and engine were undamaged.

Further bodies of Chinese: drowned in the collision between the s.s. "Leung Kwong" and the "Moonshine" have been recover ed by the Water Police over the end. On Saturday, six were pick- ed up and yesterday three. This brings the total number of bodies recovered to 25. So far, the body of Mr. Donaldson. Chief Engineer of the s.s. "Leung Kwong" has not been recovered.
