Protecting Russians.

Geneva, May 6. In consequence of the modifica- tion of the police measures for the protection of the Russian de- legates, the incident is now con- sidered closed. Russian scruples surprised the Swiss authorities, who point out that they were merely fulfilling a duty in pro- tecting the Soviet delegates and that the measures were in no way so stringent as at The Hague Conference following the Genoa Economic meeting when the pas sage leading to the Russiang' rooms in the hotel was walled up. -Router.
