Banks: Are steady, business having been done at $1,035, at which price there are still buyers.

Unions: Came in for a strong demand at rising prices, and sales They took place at $290/292.

Steamixats:Are firm with buyers at $22.

Waterbouats:-Came to busi- ness at $15, and are still wanted at $14.

Star Ferries:-Have buyers at $52,

China Sugurs:-Havė been dealt in at $19, and are still in great demand at this price.

Benguets Continue firm with buyers at $1.70,

Hong Kong Lands: eased off and now have sellers at $53.

Hong Kong Trams:--Are quiet but steady with buyers but no sellers at $204.

China Lights, Combined:-Still have buyers.at $12.

Electrics: Are rather firmer with buyers at $52.

London Quotations of April 27: -Banks £114; Indos Deferred £4; Shells £4 12s. 6d., all middle prices..

Exchange: The demand rate on London is 2/- 3/16 and the T/T. on Shanghai is Tis. 79/2.

Dividends:The Canton Insur- Jance Office Ltd. have declared

final dividend of $22 for 1925 and an interim of $18 a/c. 1926. The Union Insurance Society of Can- ton have declared a final dividend of 21/- for 1925 and an interim- of 24/- a/c, 1926.
