Built locally for the Kwong Wing S.S. Co., this boat presented smart appearance alongside the Hol On Wharf, Connaught Road West. She is bigger than any ship at pre- sent on the trade between Hong Kong, Wuchow and intermediate West River ports. Like the other ship belonging to the same owners. the "Tai Ming," the "Tai Hing" will fly the British flag.
Speed trials already held go to prove that the "Tal Hing" will also be the fastest on the run. In size she is as big as the medium type of boat on the Canton and Kong- moon runs.
