Shareholders were told at the annual meeting to-day that delay In the construction of a new building for the Hong Kong & Kowloon Wharf & Co. Godown Co., Ltd. was due to the coal strike at Home.
Reference was also made to the decreased profits and the bonus of $28,000 to a retiring servant with 30 years' service:
