The following passengers were landed at Hong Kong by the | "d'Artagnan" from Shanghai on Feb. 1: Mr. F. H. Gaarry, Mrs. on Nolasco, Mr. J Chavez, Mrs. Y. D. of Chow, Mr. H. K. Yu, Mag A. Gove, Mr. Liang Ping, Mr. A. M. D'Eca, Mr. Ma Wing-chan

All antipiracy equipment board, cargo and a quantity clothing was taken from # junk which was pirated in the Houngshan district on January 30. A report has been made at the Harbour Office on the Junk's return here from Lin Tin, where, the pirates had taken the junk.

Four passengers aboard at the time (three were the owners), also the master, were taken from the Junk for purposes of ransom, the pirates last being seen making off with their captives in the direction of Macao.

The pirney was carried out by Imeans of grey launch which

opened fire on the junk noor Heungahan.
