Loudon, Dec. 11. The rugby dispute between Bath Club and the Somerset Rugby Union has been settled.

The Somerset Union notified Bath that their rule not allowing Pitman to play was obsolete and had been withdrawn.

[Note: The Somerset Rugby Union refused to allow' I, J. Pit- man, the international three- quarter, to play for Bath, his own club, on the 27th ultimo, be cause he was unable to assist Somerset against Gloucestershire, although chosen.]
