Prior to the distribution of prizes won during the senson and in the afternoon's competitions. Mr. B. W. Bradbury. (President) thanked the members and friends for turning up in sneh numbers and helping in making the afternoon so enjoyable. He felt sure that this. was one of the biggest gatherings at Craigen- power for some time and all had enjoyed themselves, well.

Keenness in the sports competi- tions had been well maintained; said Mr. Bradbury, and this had helped the Committee considerably.

The President next thanked the Committee for the hard work they had put in, especially Mr. Basa in whom they had a good man.

Lastly, he thanked the donors of prizes, mostly members and: friends.

Consequent on Army changes. the Colony will be losing shortly three sportsmen in Messrs; D. Fritz and H. Dennis, of the Pay Command Offee, and Q. M. S. Jacob, of the Royal Engineers.

Mr. Fritz has made his mark a batsman and bowler for Craigengower in addition to being a lawn bowla player. Mr. Dennis's game is bowls, and he will be greatly missed. Q. M. S. Jacob is the Army cricketer (left-hand bowler).
