The cagelessness of a hand truck coolie led to a Chinese womл, being seriously injured on the Bowrington Canal Bridge about, 6.30pm. yesterday.

There is no room on the roadway of the bridge for a truck to pass when two tram cars are crossing over it, which probably was the reason which promoted the coolte, his track over the pavement, The truck crashed into the bridge rull- ing with such force that a part of it was taken away.
