The Ensembles came a close second, us. did the Pas de Deux, "Fire and Water," by the Misses Barbara The Walker and Phyllis Capell. solo dance by Miss Allison Rowley was very good and of course that given by Miss Capel herself at the end of the programme.
A reminder may be given of the matiner performance on Wednes- day at 5.15 p.m.. also in the Theatre Royal No doubt the earlier hour will be found very convenient for the large number of young people who are attracted by really good caneing.
