Mr. D. W. Tratman, Mr. R. A. Du Forrest and Dr. A. G.. M. Severn.
Dr. Koch moved that... “This! Board is of opinion that the routine bacteriological examination of the potable waters of the Colony Įshould be made at not less frequent intervals than one week, and ve spectfully requests that the author- ities give directions accordingly.”
In support he said it would be within the recollection, of the Board that on January 12 he asked questions about the examination of water and the answer the chair man was authorised to give was that more frequent examination would be advantageous. He then. asked whether steps would be taken to do so and the reply was that it wawn question of the Increase of stiff which was under considorn tion by the Government, and that without more staff a more frequent Fexamination, was not possible.
