A ONE-EARED MAN GIVES

PRISONER WHO "DIRECTED THE OPERATION.

A one-eared man stood in the witness boy at Sessions this morning and accused

The one-eared witness, one of the passengers on board the steam launch "Po' 'On," which was pirated on July 9 of last year, said that when the passengers were taken away up country after being landed in Chinese territory the names and addresses of relatives were taken from them. Those that sent the requisite money were subsequently released.
