The "Daily News" under- stands that the British Com- mission foreshadowed a few months ago by Sir Austen Chamberlain, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, will shortly proceed to China to confer with the Chinesa: authorities regarding the allocation of the balance of the Boxer indemnity. Lord Willingdon is mentioned as head of the delegation.
Lord Willingdon has been Governor of Bombay and of Madras, relinquishing the latter post in 1924. He is a Lord in Waiting to the King and is a keen sportaman.
