Both Ex. Sakel and Mid.. Am. Cotton prices show appreciable decline, and Liverpool quotations of 17th instant, 16.75d and 9.748.. Spot" respectively; represent the lowest levels touched this year.

Speculative importa of oil, an abundant production in Japan]. proper, and a fall in the oil
oit business in Japan. market price featured this year's Crop and Costs. The output Nippon Sekiyu Kaisha, Asahi Oil for the year was 726.158 lbs., Company, Asano Bussen Kaisha, harvested at an all-in-cost of Mitsui Bussan Kaisha and Mitsu- bishi Trading Company import- 33.84 cents per lb.

November 6. The annual report for Gibral- tar, recently issued by the British Colonial Office, atates that the staple trade is st the supply to shipping of cool, del oil, stores, and fresh water. The daily local steamer services from Gibraltar to Algeciras and several times a week to Moroco, Algeria, etc., are causing the "Rock" to be used increasingly by British and. American tourists for short stays.
