SATURDAY'S SOCIAL.
On Saturday evening a social was held in the University Union building to congratu late the successful engineer- ng undergraduates who are to be presented for the degree of B.Sc. (Eng.) on January 12: when the University congrega- tion for the presentation of degrees will be held. "Six candi- 24 dates satisfied the examinery and Dit is believed that one of them, Mr. Ahmed, will in due course 74 receive an honours degree, the Award of which is decided by the examiners in engineering of the London University. The names of the new graduates in engineer- ing are Messrs. Ahmed, Liang, Wu, Cheng and Yiu Mr. Yiu has successfully completed the civil engineering couree, but as he has previously graduated after completing the course in mechani 3ical engineering he cannot be
counted as a new graduate,
