In conclusion, Sir Claud wished to thank all those who had helped | to meke the festival such a success, Mr. King had done a tremendous lot of work, and Col. Robertson, as nsual. His Excellency the Governor then persented all the prizes won during the four days festival.

Mr. Witchell announced that the Aggregate Cup competed for dur- ing the three night. fetes had been won by Mr. E. A. Brodie. On bel of the Victoria Recreation Club, he took the opportunity of thanking all those who had donated prize toward the aporta.

His Excellency briefly replied and said that the fact of his having to remain in the Colony had had its consolation by reason that he had been able to attend the functions of the V.R.C.
